INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

The room is dimly lit with soft sunlight streaming through the curtains. A cozy atmosphere fills the air, with a comfortable sofa and a coffee table in the center.

JESSICA, a young woman in her late 20s, sits on the sofa, engrossed in a book. She looks up as the front door opens and her boyfriend, MICHAEL, enters.

MICHAEL (smiling) Hey babe, I'm home!

Jessica closes her book and stands up to greet him.

JESSICA (excitedly) Welcome back! How was your day?

They hug and Michael kisses her on the cheek.

MICHAEL (grinning) It was good, but I missed you. How about we spend the evening together?

JESSICA (nods) That sounds perfect. Let me make us some coffee.

Jessica walks towards the kitchen while Michael takes off his jacket and hangs it on the coat rack.

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

Jessica stands by the coffee machine, preparing two cups of coffee. The aroma fills the room as she pours the steaming liquid into the cups.

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Jessica returns to the living room with the coffee cups in her hands. She hands one to Michael and they both sit back down on the sofa.

JESSICA (taking a sip) So, tell me about your day. Anything interesting happen?

MICHAEL (relaxing) Well, I had a meeting with a potential client. It went really well, and I think we might land a big project.

JESSICA (excitedly) That's amazing! I'm so proud of you, honey. You've been working so hard.

They clink their coffee cups together in celebration.

MICHAEL (gratefully) Thank you, babe. Your support means everything to me.

They both take a moment to enjoy their coffee, basking in the warmth of each other's presence.

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

The room is now bathed in a warm, cozy glow from the soft lighting. Jessica and Michael are snuggled up on the sofa, wrapped in a blanket, watching a movie on the television.

They laugh together at a funny scene, their eyes filled with love and happiness.

JESSICA (leaning her head on Michael's shoulder) I'm so glad we have nights like this. Just you and me, enjoying each other's company.

MICHAEL (squeezing her hand) Me too, babe. These moments are what make life worth living.
